- If you are travelling by
train we can collect you from Dunmore Railway Station at 7.45am.
You need to advise our office on (02) 4237 8589 at least 2
days prior if you wish to use this free service.
ADMISSIONS & PAYMENTS
General admission to a training course is confirmed only when
the required fee (or deposit) is received.
Payments may be made by cash, cheque or credit card (Transaction
Fee applies for credit card payment).
(Account Clients please fax/email a purchase order, including
trainees’ names and contact numbers. Confirmation will then
be issued.)
A full refund of enrolment fees will be made if a course is
cancelled by us for any reason.
An application for refund of course fees under any other circumstance
must be made in writing to management.
An eighty five percent (85%) refund is available up to ten
working days prior to the commencement of the training course.
Cancellation of enrolment under these circumstances will incur
a fifteen percent (15%) administration fee.
No refund is available where cancellation is made less than
ten (10) working days prior to the commencement of a course,
or to students who leave before finishing the course.
Refunds will be considered on a pro-rata basis for students
who fall ill or are injured providing a supporting Medical Certificate
is supplied to us.
In all other cases, refunds are at the discretion of management
and may be negotiated on an individual case-by-case basis.
SPECIAL NEEDS and SUPPORT ASSISTANCE
In accordance with our Anti Discrimination Policy we provide
special assistance in various areas, for example to people with
disabilities, language, numeracy, literacy and transport. Please
discuss your needs with the Trainer and /or the Training Coordinator
prior to course commencement.
For most WorkCover accreditation, theory tests may be conducted
verbally.
APPEALS and COMPLAINTS PROCEDURES
If you are unhappy with Killalea's training practices, or the
manner in which you are treated while at Killalea, please speak
to your Trainer in the first instance.
Formal complaints and appeals may be lodged within seven (7)
days from the disputed assessment or incident by putting it
in writing to Killalea State Park. Lodgements of Appeals after
seven (7) days will not be accepted.
